1. Attracts crowds – In some countries the moving picture is still uncommon and news that a video is going to be shown draws people to come and see it.
2. Best remembered – You can probably remember videos that you watched years ago, but do you remember the conversations you had last week? If you can hear and see a message on video, it is more likely to stay in your memory.
3. Consistent message – it doesn't matter how many times you play a video, its message will always be the same.
4. Demands attention – a video is able to catch the audience's attention, drawing them away from other distractions to what is happening on the screen.
5. Emotional involvement – Many of you know what it's like to watch a movie and cry when someone dies, or cheer when the team wins. Although video is little more than a moving picture on a screen, we get involved and an attachment is made.
6. Feel of authenticity – makes the concepts or stories told seem more real than mere words.
Belarus Children's Ministry (North Hills Community Church) - David Williams
North Hills Community Church began a ministry to children from the country of Belarus in 2001. Each summer, families host children for 6 weeks in their homes.  Each January, we present the ministry to the church and begin seeking host families for the summer. For the first 4 years, we used a slide show and one host family testimony. In 2006, Demelza prepared a ministry video that included footage of the Belarus children and host families from the previous summers and multiple host family testimonies. We have used the video each January and it has been much more effective in presenting the ministry opportunities to the church. The video captures the excitement and emotions of the children and their host families that could not be portrayed in still pictures. The video shows the interaction of the children with their host families and allows prospective host families to envision their home with a Belarus child. We have had an increase in new host families and financial support from others each year that the video has been presented to the church.
Blue Ridge Christian Academy - Jill Bird
 In this age of technology, it is wonderful to have the opportunity to work with Demelza on a quality DVD that can be sent into the homes of families interested in Blue Ridge Christian Academy. Demelza spent quite a bit of time onsite to gain better understanding of our school in order to represent it well in her product. Working with Demelza was delightful! She used her creative gifts and talents to produce a timeless DVD that captured the heart, goals, and philosophies of BRCA. This beautiful tool has been an asset in sharing God’s vision for Blue Ridge Christian Academy with others.

 The video that Demelza made for me was to aid me in informing individuals and churches in Great Britain and North America about the ministries of the graduates of the GOLGOTHA BIBLE SCHOOL in Romania who are now involved in starting churches in the rural areas of Romania. Showing the video in churches has served to give the people a visual of the needs of these missionaries and conditions they have to work in. We continue to send out the video to anyone wanting to know about our Romanian ministry. We are confident that "a picture is worth 10,000 words". The video shows the "kind" of ministry these missionaries do so it will still be useful in the future as new missionaries go out to do the same kind of work.

 We are so grateful for the professional work Demelza did in producing our pre-field ministry video. The video provides a window into the culture and need of Romania that we would not have been able to communicate as professionally or as clearly by using words and slides alone. Not only do we use the video in our church presentations, but we also send it to pastors as part of our introductory packet. The video-introduction to the vision the Lord has given us, helps pastors to ascertain whether their churches are good partnering fits with our ministry. We would never have been able to have afforded the quality of work that Demelza was able to offer us free of charge. And we are exceedingly grateful for her ministry to missionaries.
